Crastan Instant Chicory Coffee was one of our first creations. It is a drink with a pleasant caramelised flavour, with slight bitter notes, an excellent alternative to classic coffee or barley coffee. It is naturally caffeine-free, gluten-free, low in fat, suitable for any time of the day.
What is chicory? It is a spontaneous plant, widespread also in Italy and Europe. In addition to the leaves (also used in cooking), chicory is made up of a long and tapered taproot: this is the part that is used to prepare chicory coffee. The root is dried, chopped, then toasted and finally made soluble.

Ingredients: Chicory. Chicory naturally contains sugars. Gluten free.
Format: 100g glass jar. EAN code: 8007100055307
1. Add 2 or 3 teaspoons of product to a cup
2. Add a little hot, not boiling, water or milk and mix until you obtain a thick cream.
3. Complete the preparation by filling the cup with hot water or milk while continuing to mix.
4. Once the foam has formed, add sugar to taste.
5. Remember to close the jar tightly and store it in the fridge, away from sources of light
