The number 44 indicates the millimeters of the pod, i.e. the round filter, made of compostable material, structurally similar to that of tea, with the difference that tea is prepared by infusion and coffee pods by percolation with a special dispenser. We must immediately make the distinction between pod and capsule, which is a rigid shell of plastic, aluminum or compostable material.
