Hulled barley is a fine variety of barley which, once ripe, naturally loses its external covering (glumella).
Our barley comes only from Italian crops. Rich in genuine aromas and flavours, it is caffeine-free and sugar-free. With Crastan Italian Barley, you will have a natural drink, ideal for breakfast as well as at any time of the day, suitable for those who do not wish to drink stimulating drinks.

Preparation with the Moka and the Espresso machine: prepare the drink like a normal coffee, taking care not to fill the filter more than halfway.
Preparation with the American coffee maker: add into the filter 1 tablespoon of barley for each desired cup.
Preparation for Infusion: add the desired quantity of barley to the boiling water (at least 2 spoonfuls for every half litre of water). When the water starts boiling again, remove from the heat and wait for the barley powder to settle at the bottom. Filter the infusion with a strainer.
